Built specifically for tough Australian conditions, the large capacity eliminates the need for continual refilling, reducing labour costs and reducing stress. Tow from the silo to the paddock with ease. And simply rotate around the paddock to minimise pasture damage from your cattle. Paton's large feeder range are the toughest and heaviest gauge feeders on the market, built specifically to withstand the rigours of adult cattle knocking and rubbing. Being a wheeled version, you eliminate the requirement of a front-end loader to shift your feeder and simply tow the unit with your tractor. The feeder has two 3500mm length troughs, capable of handling 10 large cattle feeding at any given time. The lick doors are fully adjustable from fully closed to 6" opening with a simple turn of the adjustment nuts. The specially designed trough and lick door system contain no sharp or rough edges, are soft on the animal's mouths and eliminate all waste, allowing your feed to go further. This feeder is suitable for feeding grain, pellets or heavy chopped and mixed feeds. The trough design is specifically built for adult cattle and has plenty of head space and a large trough area to eliminate all waste. The unit features a full "anti-rub" cage to prevent animal and operator damage. Access ladders and a full walkway atop the unit provide access alongside the dual swing open hinged lids. This unit is fully weather proof, with two weather verandas, is rodent proof, has a wide hinged swing opening lid, is fully galvanised and built tough to last a lifetime. Feeding grain on the ground or exposed to the elements in a trough leaves up to 30% of the product wasted and fouled.
