Soak your plant deeply every three or four weeks, but let the soil dry out completely between watering sessions. New plants need more frequent water – up to once a week during the first spring and summer. Water container and indoor plants about once a week or whenever the soil is dry throughout the container. Apply water until it drips from the bottom drainage holes and empty the drip tray after several minutes. During winter, water your blue chalk stick only enough to prevent wilting.
