Description Yuccas are extremely drought tolerant and store water in their trunks or bulbous bases. Their foliage grows in rosette form either at ground level or on stalks, trunks or branches. Many have leaves that are razor sharp and spine tipped, earning them common names of Spanish bayonet and Spanish dagger. Yuccas are slow-growers and need almost no maintenance to survive. Their toughness is both a virtue and a vice, as they can be nearly impossible to get rid of once firmly established and larger clumping types may take over.   Product Delivery Information The image displayed is indicative in nature. Actual product may vary in shape or design as per the availability. The number of leaves and the size of the plant depends on seasonal availability. Since flowers are seasonal in nature, flowering plants may be delivered without the bloom. Flowers, if present in plant, may be in fully bloomed, semi-bloomed or bud stage. Delivery will be attempted on the same day, but there may be a delay of 3-5 hours depending on the traffic and the weather. Our courier partners do not call prior to delivering an order, so we recommend that you provide an address at which someone will be present to receive the package. The delivery, once dispatched, cannot be redirected to any other address.   Yucca Plant’s Care Instructions: Soil: Yuccas aren’t particular about the type of soil they live in, other than it must be well-draining to avoid rot.   Water: Yuccas are extremely drought tolerant, but will look better with regular watering of about an inch per week during spring and summer, along with an occasional deep soaking. They’ll require less water over winter. Yellow leaves and/or soft roots can be a sign of overwatering.   Light: Yucca plant do best in a partly shaded location that receives bright, indirect light. Although yucca plants may grow in sunnier spots, their appearance could suffer from brown tips or white spots on their leaves.   Fertilizer: Fertilize yucca plant during its growing season with liquid fertilizer or controlled-release fertilizer according to label instructions.
